I completely forgot how I used to post so many images so quickly. Remember, I am altering hundreds of images a week and creating almost as many new images. It’s an amazingly time consuming process.

I must also admit that I took some shortcuts that I never really wrote down. So, I forgot how they work. *blush*

Anyway, I’m getting my shit together.

I told them to replace the fan and they didn’t. I don’t know if the computer is fixed yet, but I’ll run some tests and see.

INCIDENTALLY . . . .

(quick rehash)

I took my computer (under warranty) to the Geek Squad. I told them it was overheating and to change the fans. They don’t do repairs in house, so they had to ship it off to one of their service centers. it took a month to get it fixed because the service center had to order parts.

I got the computer back today and plugged it in.

I create an admin account and an account to update my blogs. This way, if I download something bad on my blog update account I can delete it and the computer should still be OK. Well, the Geek Squad removed all the passwords from my accounts. So, they had total access to my laptop.

I don’t care if they see I have an enormous amount of porn on my computer. I also have a few safeguards in place to protect my personal information (bank logins, etc).

However, a lot of people don’t do this and just use the browser “remember my login/password for this site”. Someone from The Geek Squad would have access to these accounts since your account isn’t secure.

BE CAREFUL AND PROTECT YOUR COMPUTER AND YOURSELF!

Computer down. Unable to get anything to work.

I get everything back next week, so THEN things will return to normal.

argh.

I’m still sort of kicked in the nuts by my computer outage. Sure I bought the Geek Squad coverage, but they only do a little bit in the store itself. It had to be sent out (5 day ground delivery) to a repair shop. They had to order parts, so that’s another 5 days. A week to fix it and then another 5 days to mail it to me.

The parts were more expensive than the cost of the warranty, but STILL! A month to repair?! Doesn’t seem quite right.

Anyway, instead of doing 4-5 updates a day I may try doing one. My biggest problem is that I don’t have all the software i use to get the updates to happen.

Here’s hoping this works!

Sorry for the delay, but manual labor is taking over my days and nights. I have to find some time to post but I’ve been hauling concrete and un-fun stuff like that.

Just general frustration resulting in plenty of ARGH!! I have to find a way to get to updating again.

i got a nice cheap computer, but i have to download everything. hopefully I’ll have more hot guys for you soon.

OK. Computer has been fixed. I have to download some software, but I should be back to updating regularly in a day or two!

Computer is crashing. I’m going to try to see what I can salvage before I send it to repair.
